Summary of Numerology

If you find mathematics or numbers interesting, you might enjoy Numerology. If you’re like me, however, and struggled with math in school, Numerology may give you a greater appreciation of numbers. Through this practice, my personal bond with numbers has grown exponentially!

If you’re new to Numerology, you may want to check out the introductory post to Numerology. To summarize, Numerology is the belief that there’s much more to numbers than what meets the eye. Each number is original and significant in its own way.

A Numerologist views numbers through the lenses of both symbolism and metaphysics by forming connections between all things that are involved with that number based on its frequency and vibration. For example, the number one is symbolically known for leadership, independence, beginnings, and newness. When you’re in first place, you’re in the lead.

Numerology Rules

Numerology is astoundingly simple to do, as it has very few rules. It only requires you to have basic addition and subtraction skills. Perhaps the most important rule is the one involving simplification. In case you don’t remember, simplification in mathematics is when you reduce a number down to a single digit, making it as small as possible.

All numbers, no matter how large, can be reduced to one of the single-digit numbers one through nine. For example, the number thirty-six can be simplified by adding the three and six, which results in nine. Therefore, thirty-six is actually a nine in disguise.

The Exceptions to the Rule

Again, a Numerologist wouldn’t see a number like one hundred and twelve as two ones and a two. Instead, they would perceive it as a four because one and one plus two equals four. There are a couple of exceptions to this rule of simplification in Numerology. The exceptions are what we call the “master numbers.”

Eleven and twenty-two are referred to as master numbers. Master numbers are exceptions to the rule because they aren’t simplified in Numerology when they’re found. So, if the date is 12/11/2024, this would be simplified by adding 1+2+11+2+2+4.

No matter what, the numbers eleven and twenty-two are not reduced any further. If you add 1+2+11+2+2+4 together, you’ll get 22, which remains 22. If the result had been 23, you’d continue to simplify the 2 and the 3 to get a result of 5.

What Makes Master Numbers So Special?

Master Numbers are double-digit numbers that are considered to be extra powerful and more energetically influential than single-digit numbers. It is believed that they unlock astounding potential by naturally tapping into the unseen worlds. Individuals with these numbers in their personal Numerology chart may have a greater awareness of the hidden energies at play.

Eleven

The number eleven has the leadership abilities of the one and the intuition of the two, but these qualities are amplified. This number is typically associated with psychic abilities and enlightenment. Sometimes they may seem as if they’re able to read thoughts.

They easily pick up on information about others based on their natural gift of feeling out underlying energy, including the hidden sides of people. This can involve other’s true feelings and/or unspoken intentions. Other times, their inner being appears to be simultaneously living amongst this world and another.

Elevens are energetic healers with a strong sense of empathy and compassion for others. For this reason, it’s common for others to place their trust in them and follow their guidance. If this takes place, this is when eleven has become a “master,” where they frequently become gurus, spiritual leaders, or shamans.

The downside for eleven is that they may become overwhelmed by subtle energies. It isn’t uncommon for them to be used by others, who may only want to use them or take advantage of their desire to serve. This may result in eleven having a habit of isolating themselves for long periods of time while they reflect and self-protect before reentering the world.

Twenty-Two

The twenty-two has the sensitivity of the two and the deep connection with the material world, like the four, but both qualities are doubled. Called the, “Master Builder,” they’re believed to have the power to turn dreams into reality. This is because they have an innate ability to manifest ideas from their mind’s eye and into the world with unbelievably little effort.

Highly ambitious, twenty-twos are highly capable individuals who have the potential to achieve anything, both big and small. They are often seen as creators and innovators, with a strong sense of clear purpose and unstoppable determination. Having a unique way of showing others how real magic is, they’re big-thinkers and visionaries, inspiring those who witness them work.

The shadow of the twenty-two is that they’re sometimes victims of jealousy and slander. Others may attempt to discredit them wherever they see potential holes in their ideas or plans. Unfortunately, this can leave twenty-two with insecurity and doubts about themselves.

Conversely, for the twenty-two, they aren’t necessarily concerned about other’s perception of them. They are, however, motivated by their own ability to guide and be living proof of magic. When they can do this by just being themselves, they’re fulfilled and living their highest truth.
